The new year brings in higher prices. Base prices increased $3.00/CWT. and Scrap pricing increased by $1.50/CWT. Will pricing hold? I talked to a few major mills that produce CHQ wire, and for now, they are stating the base increase will hold. It will be interesting to see what will happen as demand shrinks…stay tuned!
